A Dup Rap by Beverley Bogle – “Never go Hungry”

Never go hungry dub rap

This Dup Rap was first presented at our 10th Anniversary concert in September 2018. It was performed during the period when our guests were being presented with samples of our Afro-Caribbean food. It was well received and asked to be repeated.

Due to its popularity and as a potentially useful education resource, I have refined and officially recorded it. This was such a memorable and pleasurable experience, especially as it was being sung by Beverley in “Jamaican Patios” or Patwah or Jamaican Creole – the local language spoken in Jamaica and in the Jamaican diaspora – Thanks to Richard and Samuel for their support.
