Become a Member of JÁNUKA
Joining JÁNUKA is an honour.
Your age and prior dancing ability are not deterrent factors. The most important requirement is your motivation, willingness to learn and to engage in our groups’ activities.
You will be invited to attend 3 or more taster sessions, asked to agree the terms and conditions stated in our Group Pledge, promise to uphold our Aims and Objectives, and pay a low priced membership fee.
Once accepted, you will be taught to dance quadrille, and other cultural dances, in a relaxed and supportive environment. Your knowledge and understanding of its historical context and cultural significance will be enhanced.
